Traditional privacy policies tell you how they use your data. Our Privacy 2.0 policy explains why we never receive it in the first place.
1. The "Zero-Server" Architecture
Most online calculators send your salary, loan amounts, and tax details to a server. We don't. OrangeTool is built on a "Local-First" architecture. All mathematical operations are performed by your browser's JavaScript engine inside your device's RAM.
2. Data We Do NOT Collect
- Financial Values: We never see the amounts you input into our calculators.
- Personal Identity: No login or email is required to use our core tools.
- File Contents: For PDF tools, your files are processed locally. We never upload them to a server.
3. Third-Party Services
To keep the platform free, we use Google AdSense for advertising and Google Analytics to track page views (not user inputs). These services may collect non-identifying technical data such as browser type and screen resolution.
4. Data Sovereignty
Since your financial data never leaves your device, you maintain 100% control over it. There is no database at OrangeTool that could ever be breached to reveal your financial intent.
Security Assurance
Our tools are open for inspection. Developers can use the 'Network' tab in browser developer tools to verify that no data is transmitted during the calculation process. That is the OrangeTool Zero-Data Promise.
